1] jack car up
2] spin wheel around checking for a buckle - it should be dead stright.
3] if above is straigh take off wheel
4] check the suspension links, and components for bending, cracks, etc
5] shake/pull on the suspension joints - there should be little play
6] check your track...
Yes it will still have a smell.
is there any grumbling/squeeking/rubbing noises when driving? roll down the road in neutral/dip clutch so you can hear better.
Its either bearings or caliper piston seized.
Wheel bearings.
Jack it up and turn the each wheel [try the rear first] if they are not freely turning they are crumbling/deteriorating.
Also smell each corner with the wheel off - and check for metal flakes.
Feel the wheel/disk after a little drive with miniumum braking - if its buggered...
You probably know the drill Maz but quickly:-
Check for oil leaks,
Jack up car and check for bumps, and wiggle wheels at 03:15 position and 06:30 position for any play = bearings
Turn the wheel - if it doesnt turn freely = bearing [mine seized and cost me an axle]
Pull on the track rod, and...

Yes I would - ready done! You can expect to pay double or triple the price of the car if your doing it yourself from a std 172.

Flashes from the TV sent a message to the robot, it would then drop a dynamo on the relevant red or blue pad which would then open that colour gate in the game... quite hard to do but - was great once mastered!
