if you find a good supply of 2ltr bottom ends then ill take a couple too!!!!, they are not exactly stacked up with people tripping over them,
go for the ridiculously high revving route, its fun, drivable and more unigue, plus it will be even more quick reving and lively, more like a bike...
i had a V6 mondeo for the day and its was a real dissapointment, not that fast at all, and awfull handeling, not shy with the understeer,

they are a real shocker arent they, i dont know why its always the Boras that seem to throw up the suprises, i believe its the same engine in the badly named golf GTTDi, and therefore Audis Seats etc but i suppose its easily mistaken for a normal GTi,

how do i contact them? what am i likley to pay?
What would you suggest for an ideal cam profile, im guesing the number i.e 270 is the lift, but there are other considerations such as duration etc, i think Nick and Wongy have got milder mid range cams,
or are my standard cams OK?
i got a price for the 270s from performance on the net and they are £550!!!! what are my options because paying £550 for a pair of cams certainly isnt one of them.
well pleased mate, thanks very much,
and thanks especialy to Rob for driving all the way down, in torrential rain and traffic jams,

sorry mate, i wasnt aware of the other thread, i dont bother cleaning my engine, seem like a pointless exercise unless it is going to be done properly (out of the car) so i contradicting myself,
as i live out in the country i have hit a few rear animals as well, i accidentaly ran over a snake (the big ones are very diffucult to avoid)
and sadly i hit an owl, he was just stood on the road with his back to me, i couldnt see him till i got close, he span his head all the way round...

surley the "bodging t**t" would have been far better off having the excess thread sticking out the other side? only he didnt bother because the front pipe was in the way stopping him from slotting it in? i was tempted to cut the excess off but that bodging a bodge which is something im trying to...
on my 16v, there is what i assume to be and engine mount at the back of the engine right underneath, (only viewable from under the car) is this the dog bone mount?
anyway, the problem is to fit this properly the front pipe needs to be off, and some bodging t**t has not bothered and left the...
i dont know if anyone remebers but i said it could be possible to change the oil by taking the grill out and sliding your hand through the gap between bumper and bonnet, well after 6k since the last service it worked a treat, full oil change took me 20 mins (like it should do!)
and i have got...
drop the sub frame, slide the clutch out, lose the skin off your knuckles, £60 for the clutch (GSF) and £100 for the poor sod who has got to fit it (its a days work)
at least i think this is how they do it, i had two garages offer to do it for a days labour, save £350 and buy some gunk and...

also in my humble opinion, dont bother changing the brakes unless they are worn out, i dont thing it will effect the tightness/loosness in...
