Im not the person to ask as I like most cars kinda how they are - I find de-badged & smoothed cars boring and plane looking. I think it looks sweet as it is!
Mines the 3" I think or maybe 3.5" - its meaty sounding around town but is quiet most of the time when at certain speeds. Can still annnoy the tits off you on a long journey - but I am old now!!(28);)
What size are those alloys - looks smart. I had OZ Super Ts (if thats what they are) on my Fiesta RST but they didnt look great on it so I put cossie style on insead. Yours suit it!!! I may have to clean my engine bay.
Worse than that on the back roads where I stay they dont seem to bother taking the loose chippings off after re-laying it!! I hit one a few weeks ago - had to drive about 5 miles under 15mph to stop hunderds of stone chips:@
Simon I read a tyre review on a Elise website and they commented on not to get F1s as the rear end feels boaty just like you said! I have now seen a few people say this - my tyres are on 1.6mm but I cant decide what to get:confused:

A question like this usually lasts quite a few pages - you will get some interesting suggestions along with the argueing!!
Under car neons LOL. Some I know had some on his Astra GSI - Unfortunatly he didnt stop there and got a in-car strobe light. The Police caught him driving down the dual carrageway with his own mini disco. What a pillock, I have no idea how you can drive with a in-car strobe on!
I will need to add up all my debt first as my 2 rear tyres are just under the legal limit:cry:! All my bank/credit cards are 170 miles away too:p My fault that one!!
New starter motor and they reckon that it caused the electrical gremlins - we will see. £195 All in:o They have had it for just over a week and I was getting tempted to sell it and try something different - well sat in traffic fo 30mins tonight then decided as I got close to home I would go for...
LOL My cousin is Jinxed by Galaxies -
in his VTR he overtook a Tdi and we couldnt out accelerate it - eventually it overtook us:o we saw the rear end of it for 50 miles!!
Then 2 weeks after getting his Scoob Turbo and still running it in on the same stretch of road we tried to overtake a V6...
Well I would say decalre everything as insurance companies will do everything to get out of paying and if you hit a porsche your buggered!!
On the other hand I chipped my last car and upped the boost:devilish:and forgot to let the insurance company know! but the chip could be unplugged in...

Hi Carl, thanks for the enquiry.
Youre right about the Clio Williams wheels being made by Speedline. They were originally made in Speedlines main original equipment plant for Renault. We are the UK arm of Speedline Corse, Speedlines specialist product division which...
Heres mine - seems a while ago already!! You were all very helpful by the way!!;)
HI, I am considering among other cars a Clio Williams but the stats seem too slow. I have found a autocar test online that gives 0-60 / 7.6 and 0-100 / 22.8 both of which seem a touch slowish for the power. My...
Ill start thrashing my Willie:oops: again when (if) I ever get it back from Renault!:( Mine was definatly quicker after me using it for a month compared to when I bought it - my mate commented on this last week so shows how much of a difference some red-line action seems to have made - of course...
To say the Escort Cossie is just a Sierra is completly wrong and a bit like saying a Clio is a Megan or a Laguana as they use the same parts in areas.
Simon the Escort was based on the sierra floorpan and used the saff 4x4 running gear. The engine was also based on the Sierra one. It is...
I can quite believe a cup can be faster than a cossie. I am planning a Cossie and I would defo go stage 1 before I drive anywhere as the hot hatch market has moved on so much - in the early 90s sub 8 secs was lightning for a hot hatch - now were sub 7 secs.
LOL well those times should be about standard cossie 1/4 miles depending on condition/age whether the things running ok. There are more dogs of cossies than decent ones these days.
