I got beat by a 323 on Thursday but I didnt think he was going to go for it so stayed in 4th under 3000rpm - not the best place to accelerate from:p when he booted it i was slow to realise - when I got going I closed on him until the traffic - it was nippy what ever model of 323!
LOL - nobody in my family lets me drive their car as I feel its my job to do a full road test including the customary "how fast round a rounda-bout before loosing it" test:o I have my AP22 ready but my sis wont let me use it on her RS:(
Mine will go down with the drivers side button but not up - it will however go up with the passengers side button everytime!
im sure ive seen a few prveious threads about this. I just dont put the passenger one down (unless im in the passenger seat).
Vtech Abuser - saw three Black CTRs in Tescos car park today within 20 meters, very common;) just kidding - I think im coming round to the fact a bread van can look cool as f/ck!:D
This is what always put me off above all else - I just could not afford this to happen:

Im pretty sure its usually what you cant see that costs. Like the chassis - I ran my Dads car into a kerb years ago and got it written off as the chassis was unrepairable apparently. Thats my only crash and the only experience so far I can contribute. I take it your ok?
I reckon you should just go for the RB5 - its a good car and its worth owning a car like that for a year. I always wanted a Mcrae edition - timing was never right tho. The same colour as my Willie so I wont get one now. - An Evo 6 Makinen in silver tho...
thats AWD for you - but the increased tranny losses means your not as fast once moving. Thats why a lot of the RS guys prefer the 2WD Cossies to the 4WD - but the Ford 4wd has massive losses compared to the scoob as its ancient.
I think the boggo UK ones are generally not that fast - been in a few and not impressed (as i thought i would be). Some of thoose jap imports with the shorter gearing can shift if you can put up with the extra hastle that comes with them. You were after a RB5 tho and its got more power hasnt it...
I know its old but it aint made 30k on the clock yet!
Still I work next to the bosch agent and mate can service it - I have always got a full service when I buy a car and didnt this time - dont know why!
you certainly know your stuff anyway! So how does a tuned N/A engine act? My old Fezzie was up about 25% and only needed a bit more servicing but things like scoobs need to be treated so correctly to stop disaster. I like a compromise of perfomace and reliability. I figured 200bhp in a Clio may...
