i would wash it off, the alcantara bit is quite heavy duty, dont get it too wet though,use something like 1001 cleaner , whip up a lather and use the bubbles and not the water, then towel the seats to help to dry them
just get the bugs damp first, leave them a few moments and they will come off, do not use anything more aggresive than your wool wash mit to remove them, as it will only damage your paint
its more the fact i dont think they will be a discounted as the 182s are now, well at least not for the first few batches, if the build is better it can only be good though, just a shame the dealer networks are still the same :(
the 182 is better, but far from perfect, due to casting issues, hill power will do you one swopped for your old one for less than £200, and the hp one has more metal removed and will be better matched to the head
there isnt anything that important behind that area, i know as i had my hand behind my old one, i couldnt really see the damage on the bumper, except the split, so you may need a new bumper, but i think the bonnet may be able to be pulled back straight, if you can avoid getting bits painted then...
