@Sir_Dave it woulds appear you are the fellow to offer some advice on the comparison of a clio or MCS as a track car

i stand corrected about andy's prices, although his site and traders section on here both have higher than 2.5k. when i spoke to him months back regarding kit 1 i was quoted around the 2.9k mark

Andy is £3000 for the kit 1 and engine dynamics are £2700, where are the prices of £2100 from? Also the piggyback ecu EFI sell is only listed fro phase 2's as far as i can remember

Letting it get dusty............. Probably paint the interior, flock the dash and a few other bits, rebuild calipers and replace discs all round

Stick with the standard box or the V6 box, the maxogen looks nice but offers no real gain besides looks

you do notice a difference on track with the car stripped out. I regularly use the car on the road aswel so have retained the front door cards and carpet (minus the sound deadening crap from under it), its perfectly liveable and isnt too noisy. Increase in road noise obvioulsy but nothing too...

The rolled clio didn't look too bad considering, was dirty, some drivers side rear quarter damage an 2 punctures....... Changed wheels an they were back out for a few stints before calling it a day

Superb mate, I'll call the above places an see what they say regarding turnaround times etc. Ideally I would like them doing now but with trackdays already booked for August we shall see

Have you had experience with either? I may give B.A.D a call as i know a few people with custom coilovers from them, didn't think would undertake the rebuild of another suppliers product though

Looking to have the AST's rebuilt/refreshed soon. i know curtis can do it but from having a rather horrendous time with the chap before i was hoping there was someone else out there that could do it! Anyone any experience or recommendations as to who else i could use?

Was ludicrously busy. Loads of stoppages (1 of which was my fault), and as Fraser says far too many people refused to move just because they were quicker on the straights. Tried new geo set up an it was a step backwards :down:
