for smile factor they are brilliant as far as most people are concerned - but this has got to be a very personal thing - drive one and see what you think personally would be my suggestion - I have never driven a Scooby, but i would imagine that a Cup/172 is verrrrry different !!!
Titanium is a very lovely silver - very metallic - just silver is too common on the roads in its various shades as far as I am concerned - the Mk1 172s were mostly Titanium
you lucky so-and-so Craig - it will be very rare I suspect, even the yellow on the 172 when it was free was rare !!! If I was having a 182 it would have to be that yellow too !
well, Ben has spoken !!!! ;)
Simo, you and me apparantly own a pile of poooooo !!!
but it definitely aint a pile of pooooo thats for sure !!!
we did it, Mk1 172 for a Cup, then Cup for a Vee !!!!
no regrets about having the Cup - its a great car, lots of fun - and how often is it hot enough in the UK to actually need the a/c?????
Seats in the Cup are fine - we did 25k in the Cup in about 18 months - never caused a problem ...
agree - nobody should comment on the handling or feel of a car until they have driven it - comment on the looks, yes, but how can you know what a car is like to drive until you have driven it?!?!?!
somebody thumped mine, in London, on the boot and put a big fist-sized dent in it - actually a dentmaster type of person did get it out and did a fantastic job, but he was doubtful when he first saw it - and he wouldnt be any good to ya, cos I live in Milton Keynes - sorry, but just to let you...
ours came with just under 40 on it too - also was assured that this was normal.
anyway, as you know Steve they can take a bit of thrash, and its gonna get some when you get it anyway !!!! :o :D
I have somewhere - on my yellow 172 - but Freds also has them - there must be loads of pics on here of Freds car - all you gotta do is find them - if nothing has appeared by this evening I will dig out one of my 172 and post (or rather Hubby will !!!)
the police are still very present as far as I know - went down there one night and got done for having my fogs on (even though it had been foggy that day) !!! they put cameras on the hockey stadium roundabout as well, and most of the roads leading away have a police presence I think you will...
