the "loud" one is a bit loud on the motorway, but with the centre silencer - which David will "add" if you want, it is not boomy on the motorway at all - its a very nice noise actually
and the service is 2nd to none from k-tec and I think everybody who has used them will agree

black gold, like our Vee, or yellow like my old 172 (even though it isnt the same yellow - I actually think the option yellow is better) but is it definitely the lovely metallic one that is an option in the UK?
I never had any problems with warranty work from a Renault dealer - they may not always be perfect, but certainly they never got difficult about doing warranty work on it because it was an import
got this colour on the V6 - yes, you can see a lot of gold in the right light, i.e. artificial light or sunlight - on a dull day it can look a bit "black" !!!
hope this helps
just stay in the outside lane - thats where it was meant to be and theres no lorry tracks there !!!
:D
I have to say I could drive mine for ever and not be uncomfortable !
and the mpg average for those 172s/Cup that have done 138,000 between them is, at a guess, 35 !! and that includes London driving, motorway driving, and short distances as well - so pretty much a good cross section !
between me and hubby we have done 138,000 miles in 172s/Cup - had nothing that has kept the car off the road in all those miles + 25,000 in a DCi as well !
if you get a bad one, you get a bad one - but you could get that with any car - whether it is a Renault or a BMW, a Cup or a diesel
the 182s we saw were definitely lower than a std 172, but still not quite low enough - wouldnt like to say whether they were lower or as low or not as a Cup, since ours is lowered so I am used to seeing a "low" cup.
just read that - does it make any sense??? if not, sorry !!
the first pic posted on here, by tomclio, was from the Frankfurt (I think) motorshow, that was the Callisto Brown - do a search, or try motorshow websites
since we have both sat in the garage, I guess this statement will be tested reasonably soon - and the Cup is not a slow one, nor is it std. so it will be interesting to see what happens!
