I had a look at the 3rd 1 and this is also polished! I reckon i have 3 polished and 1 normal.
It takes soooo much work to get just 1 wheel to that level of finish! Im dreading the next 3 lol
No whilst i was finishing this wheel off i decided to cover the next 1 in stripper to get it going and to my surprise it turned out that the whole face of the next alloy had been mirror finished beneath the paint :S. Anyone seen this before? It looks like its been machined as you can see...

I have just jacked my car up and checked for any play in the wheel by grabbing it at 12 and 6 and rocking it, very little play which i think is the bearing as it does it at 9 and 3 aswell, but am i checking it right?
Yes mate, there is some play in the column but no more then there was for the last few months! Im pretty sure its not this!
How do i go about checking the ball joint?
I noticed today that when I was dirving and went over a speed bump or was turning that there was a small clunk noise, so i pulled over and wiggled the wheel from left to right and there was a series of small clunks! Any ideas what this could be?
