It wasnt me although i have heard of a 10 sec SRT8 bullying everybody on the strip. I bought this as a family car really as weve had a baby now and need something sensible. A Z06 is on the cards all being well next year

Sorry mate thought you meant headlight washers - just order a couple of new ones £5.21 each. Push them through the underside of the bonnet with a pair of pliers to release them
OK - lets do it properly
Here is the technical recall data from Renault uk from October 2004 concerning the sunroof rattle. Follow the guide and order what you need from your local main dealer. I will post the note if you pm me your address.
GREEN - TECH NOTE 0833A
There are 3 mods
1 - new handle
2 - new modified handle
3 - the above + a sunroof fix kit which consists of a new seal and lots of washers / nuts & bolts
All the items were once part of a warranty recall by Renault
Not really - the injectors have to programmed by a diagnostic tool / clip. Sometimes the injectors sieze in the head making them impossible to extract. The problem will more than likely be a leaky injector
NO - dont try it.
It will block the injectors and the regulator. We repair numerous cars that have been filled with biodiesel and bill comes to just over £1k. You will need to replace the 4 injectors and flush the system. Older diesels ( pre 99 common rail type ) are ok to use biodiesel...
The problem is caused by the water freezing / expanding during winter which damages the internal mechanism. The part numbers are .......
drivers side 7701207152 £9.18 + vat
pass side 7701207168 £9.18 + vat
Yes there is that possibility - plip keys are renowned for going wrong for any reason. Always have a spare on tap or the key codes if you ever need to order one
Track and road use
Very twitchy going into bends, worse accelerating out of them ( especially in the wet SWB rwd makes it worse ), front end seemed to light powering into corners, serious lack of power ( its rival from the same family was less than half the price and had the same performance...
All the above is wrong mate - once a virgin plip has been programmed in on a "clip" diagnostic machine its mated to that particular car for the rest of its existence. Plip keys of a "98" > nature are unprogrammable once they have been coded to a car.
