I used to have a BMC on my Mk1 172 with no fueling/ecu mods and it went like stink. Never had a viper though so dont know how that would compare.

Dave, we was comparing willys with 172s then cups got thrown in as well then I noticed craggys willy was chipped. Kind of evolved

So far that is. Got a lot of loosening up to do yet.

About the same overall id say. Picks up better though and actually feels faster.

Craggy, dont get me wrong im not saying ANY Willy is slow let alone the specially good ones and im not saying I dont like them, I do, but I still think id beat any one of them from 60 over as you suggest or from a standing start unless I messed up the start. Shame you are a long way from me cos...
