GR - Yep it is indeed on a Mk2 and only the 172 has a bottom grille too. Not on a Mk1 though.

Yeah smokin fingers :sick: £127 isnt cheap cheap in my experience but not bad. I paid between 120 something and 140 for minor services.

Well... not harshly enough to lock up ;) but yes I have given the car a thrashing and braked to suit :D

Joe, if ya want to find out where the limits of braking are you can always lock up on purpose. (Well not you personally as you have ABS)

Brakes are as good as normal 172 and I havent locked up yet. In fact lighter car = stops quicker hmmm the brakes work better then :D

I thought torque steer was when you plant the throttle and you basically have to fight the steering wheel to keep it in a...

OK from the service handbook.... Maintenance to be carried out every 18000 miles or 2 years except 2.0 16v, V6 and others. 172 12000 miles. Well we knew that bit.... List of operations to be carried out Bodywork - Check body, wheel arches, openings etc Engine - Oil change, Replace oil...
