Oh yeah you said how much they charged you derrrrr sorry. £127 isnt too bad for a 12k service if they had done everything. I will look in my book tomorrow and tell you what they should have done (which will include air filter).

How can the air filter not be on the schedule???? Look in your service handbook Rich if you have it handy. I believe it tells you what needs doing.
How much did they charge you?

Not me. I gave up with the mesh I had (stuff like on the new MGs) cos 1 it wasnt long enough to totally replace the bottom grill and 2 it is soooooo tough to cut. So just ended up putting the grill back in.
Yes you can. Had mine off today. It is a bit of a squeeze. If you look underneath the car there are two bolts that hold on the black plastic thats joined to the bumper. If you take these out you can just about wriggle the lower grill out from underneath once you have unclipped it.

Renault state it has upgraded suspension so I know its not all the same. You can feel that it is firmer than normal 172 suspension as well. Trouble is they dont state whats been changed. Think ill have to get an email address for someone at Renault and try emailing them.

Does anybody know what differences there are between the cup suspension and the normal 172 suspension. Would be nice to lower it. Its quite a bit firmer than the normal 172 but have Renault uprated the dampers or just the springs? Would be nice if I can get away with just changing the springs...
Is that why you post about mods in the wrong place then? :D
Some people might not be interested in mods whatsoever so if the posts about mods are in their own section people that arent interested wont have to wade through them to read other messages.
