Not yet but will do cheers. I replaced them not long ago and the disks bearings etc. I also used the none screw in pads as that was all they had left .
I think i know the problem just wondering wether if theres an easy cure(stupid for think that I know).
Well bascially when I come to a stop my rear brake(think its only one) sounds like a 5 tonne lorry pulling up, quite loud. I am thinking this could be a lazzy caliper?
Anyone got any ideas...
Mine seemed about right .magnex cat back exhaust, k tec decat, pbv, and pipercross filter. (downpipe leaking and a hole in the centre box of the magnex)
138bhp 119 lb ft torque.
They said the pbv needs tweaking alittle which should hopefully improve things, just need to save enough to book...
I did what your doing to yours now essex boy made loads of difference. Only thing i found though was that they needed alittle more time to get up to temperature. But they were very very good.
Dont bother. ditch the standard calipers and get hold of some clio 16v ones. Just get some standard 16v disks as you dont need to uprate them. they will now be vented and about 30mm bigger that your standard disks anyway then stick some decent pads in there like mintex, and enjoy much better...
