Obvious, but check your throttle cable isnt caught or stuck on anything in the engine bay. My old 1.2 did this once..

Prices range 2nd hand from £30-150 depending on condition. You'll probably not find one in your colour for sale so your best bet would be to buy a cheap one thats not in the best condition, and get it repaired and sprayed at a bodyshop (£100+) Good luck :)

I dont really want these wheels to stand out too much, they look even bigger in silver. The exhaust is real yeah, i want a smaller tailpipe though at some point :o I live near the Uni Tom :)

I haven't cut the carpet thats where it stops, tucks under the rear seats :) I'm putting a 16v engine in over the summer i cant wait :approve:

Fitted the Sparco's on friday sprayed the rear saturday and cleaned it today :D Comments welcome... Thanks for looking :) Think i might do the wheels gloss black soon, they look really dull when they're dirty. Also got a brand new sparco strut brace to fit :)

Check behind your actual headlights as i think i had something similar when i took mine out one day. There is a piece of plastic (not the black cover) that pops onto the back of the headlight and that may have come off, worth a try.. It's attached with sort of a balljoint and controls the beam...

I fitted a pair of sparco buckets into my mk1 today, and they are that low i cant see over the dashboard properly. Used a pillow to raise it up a bit and they're fine but i look a complete goon carrying a pillow around in my car. I'm about 5 ft 10" so i'm no midget. Using sparco subframes too so...

0-60 is around 8.5 i think and if your doing the conversion yourself around 4-500 quid if you change the cambelt,oil,plugs etc.

I've driven worse handling cars with rear springs. I dont think they handle too badly once lowered :evil:
