After top dash is removed, to get the rest of the dash free you need to pull alot of stuff..
Disconnect Battery before starting..
1, Remove the steering wheel completely, (pull airbag off then theres a bit torx screw in the middle)
2, Next, remove the indicator stalk + wiper stalk(these will...
I have literally jacked it to the point you cant and it just keeps spinning, the other side bolted no problem, might be a good thing to replace it,
Do i have to replace the whole track rod end, as it looks like it screw to join the steering rack
Any tips on how to get this back on?
iv placed a jack underneath it with some wood and its tight against the hub, but when i place the nut onit, it literally just spins, so in terms the bolt just doesnt hold atall, (the steering arm ball joint)
there must be a easier way to do this, as its...
Mine seems to be down since about 2weeks now, i know you have to sign up which i have but then when i try and login the page will not load,
anyone else having the same issue?
I don't think you can change them you know, because im in a situation at the moment were i have a different plug to my headlight adjuster, and iv been looking to remove it but i physically cant, so im guessing their stuck on there. so now i have to re-wire a connector.
If i was you i'd give...
No thats what i meant, it has a space for a allen key to fit, but if that isnt doing either, then possibly it could be a faulty adjuster?
Do you kno anyone else with a 197 ? you could borrow his/her headlamp and see if its either the adjuster thats broken or just a broken wire in your loom etc,
If the adjuster inside the car doesnt work, on the headlight itself you need a allen key and ajust it like that, atleast that will make them level.. < thats on a ph2 tho, not 100% if its the same for 197
Im using Spax springs in the front, mine are coilovers but have the adjustable dampers on them.
A squeeze? what for? the mechanic i kno just fitted them in and no problem, They say the Max the rear can handle is 90mm, mine have been down to 140-150mm (chopped springs) and they are still in...
I have them on mine, and they have been faultless for nearly 3years, the damping is very easy to set up on both front and rear. The rear adjustable knob can sometimes be tight due to salt/dirt etc from the road.
Mine are set to hard all round, and its perfect for fast road driving, tight...
Excellent news, did you take the head off to inspect atall?
Btw did that work with the linkage? or was it difficult, i still cant get mine into reverse lol, so im stuck in the parking spot
The Group N Mounts will cause more vibrations as their stiffer, but for the car needing a little bit of a throttle couldnt that be throttle body problem?
Paul if you want leads fitted etc just give us a Pm, im not far and would happily show you what to do, so you can then do it yourself when you want to service the car next, im only down the road
Looking good laxy,
now a dci steering rack? why's that, if you have removed the PAS then wouldnt the rack you still had do the job for the time beeing..
Isnt the recall on ph2's only ?
maybe if his is a ph1 then it would have been done once, therefore renault have checked and noticed its done therefore charging him,
