It what i did when i had a problem with my hub,
Ye just basically disconnect everything, Castle nut that holds the shaft in the hub is 23-24mm iirc, then others are simple,
Some good news if your still doing this, the weather is perfect nice sunny day not too cold as im outside cleanin the car in shorts & t-shirt lol, oh ye im out btw car is in pieces again :(
enjoy
How can we get one then?
because im in my room now and i have to stick the phone by the window, and if i walk outside to the back which is about 10meters from the back door to were my car is i can get about 3bars. Doesnt make sense tbh
Go for the renault one Daz, because the one k-tec sell is the one you will get from Renault it states (standard replacement) + you need to add postage to k-tec's one.
The job should take no more than 20min max
Got a spare car you can borrow for a hour?
If so, remove the hubs yourself and take them to get done in your mates garage, then fit them back yourself at home and you can then take the car to get the wishbone done..
Ye its about £100, Addz who owns a V6 just bought one, theres a thread on it, let me have a look

I do unfortunately, because i have a 1.2 sub-frame and not a sport one. Fred did mention this in the beginning but i have left it till the end to do, bit stupid really :o
@ Godspeed your a legend, thanks for the pictures :)
It looks like im missing this bracket then, because i know i have to drill a hole in the subframe because its a conversion but there was no sign of a bracket, anyone got a picture of it?
Ye lower on, whats that metal kinda thing though on the front? I bought the mount from ktec and all it is, is a rubber block with 2 threaded bolts coming out that cant be removed :s ph2 172 btw
Anyone got a picture on theirs how it looks like fitted?
Cant see a way that it goes into the front gearbox as theres 2 holes :s yet only one bolt coming from the mount,
thanks,
James
if your that worry about a £5, then you could always fix the mount for free..
Bung some old socket's 15mm in each gap and cable tie them, hold the back box up perfectly :)
or try North West Performance, think they have it for about £10,

Right behind the dash there is a huge gap were the air for the fans gets pushed through..
Do you get it if you turn the controller so that they blow on the window?
I like my viper tbh, nice note to it when you put your foot down :)
You can get it cheap aswell as some member on here have them forsale (see for sale section)
No, i havnt taking it up yet but i still have my 1.2 clocks in and was only driving to about 3k revs each time, just to let the car get used to running again,
Why wont the Cup loom work tho? i have a cup Ecu etc, as i bought the Ecu lot from Rm_bailey when he was breaking it,
Fred i have a question regardin the set up you have done..
Now before you did the conversion the speedo was beeing picked up from the Abs right? so since you have now ditched the Abs, how are you gettin the speedo to work?
Because im running Cup box, 172 loom inside and out, yet my speedo...
When you put the wheels bolts in cover them in some grease etc, so when you pull them off next time they wont be so tight to the hub, iv never had a problem releasing wheel nuts since iv used grease,
