The gay badge that everyone is chucking at the TT is a bit unfair. They are good cars that are getting sl*gged off because of their success. Not everyone who drives them is an image obsessed hairdresser. These are the brakes off the one I...

no you havent dont be silly. My meg 225 was raping modded 206 gtis at bruntingthorpe this year at FCS so somehow I dont think a 106GTI is going to give a CTR much bother in any situation at all. They are the fastest hot hatch so lets...
CTR is better than a 182 in every way apart from the 182 has a more direct feeling to the steering. CTRs are faster in every situation, road track, motorway end of story YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWN!

nope, this is the most boring over repeated topic, it should actually be a banning offense
I would go for the V6 for a number of reasons. The V6 is rarer for starters and a much more intresting car. Evos have a serious image problem and 6 monthly servicing is utterly ridiculous and has to be one of the all time greatest scams (apart from optimax) When a megane can have a 18k service...
just a flesh wound that, like you say could have been a lot worse, your braver than me hammering round the track in the wet, I would have sat near the back of the pack with the ASR firmly switched on!
If you can deal with the practicality aspect youd be crazy not to get a VX if you want one. I really really wanted an N/A but in the end it just wasnt practical enough, you have to open the doors right out to get in and out and our lass has to park in a tight car park at work, plus 2 seats and a...
nah I tested a 182 when they first came out theres bugger all difference in the drive to a 172. The best reason for changing would just be for ^^^^ that colour
Yeah Omar is the single person whos made those comments and Ive seen them repeated here and on the renaultsport forum loads of times. Most of the people on meganesport.net had RS clios before the megane and non are rushing back to renault to hand them back. Disabling ESP on the full fat would be...
A full fat 225 with cup pack is what I would go for. Just look at the list of stuff you get on the cup option list:
18” anthracite alloy wheels (1.5 kg lighter than Mégane Renaultsport 225 and 8” wide vs. 7.5”)
Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres 235/40 R18 (ilo 225/40 R18)
Drilled front and rear...
Pointless changing. The genral opinion probably is that the new RS wont be as good, but thats frome people whove just shelled out 13 grand on an outgoing model. The new RS clio will be awsome, look what renault have learned over the generations of 172/182. The new RS clio will pick up where the...
7.5k is good, I changed mine earlier this year and got 8,300 for an 03 with 21k on the clock. I had the new shape changeover in mind and probably ended up getting a better price for the 172 as a result. I think cups can be had for around the 15 grand bracket. Check www.meganesport.net we have a...
you cant get much more ecanomincal than a 182! my 172 used to give 29 mpg on a thrash round some country roads. You wanna try having a tubo! you can visibly see the petrol gauge going down when you thrash it, have seen 11 mpg!
