What gabi said, if you can't get through the interview without putting in bad words or slagging somebody else off then you don't deserve the job, I'd bin you straight away as a candidate.
Do some research and tell them what they want to hear. As Swiss Tony would say, going for an interview is...
This is why I'm an engineer and you're not.
I suggest you go away and read up on what the bars mean and why you can infer nothing from them.
You can quite happily have a full functioning call on 1 or 0 bars and a really shitty call on 5 bars.
The "strength" meter is not a good metric for measuring call quality, all the manufacturers could do everybody a favour and stop showing them, you're either connected to the network or you're not.
They're just a hang up from the analogue days...people have just come to expect to see them on a...

It may be slightly bigger (0.2"), but it's also lower resolution than the iPhone 4. They can't increase the screen resolution, because they purposefully doubled the resolution in X & Y on the 4 so that it remained compatible with apps without having to do nasty scaling. Increasing the...
I know somebody in Cupertino.
I was most definitely one of the earliest people to see a 3G in the flesh after it was announced. Even despite the fact that it had been announced, I was not allowed to touch it or take photographs of it. (It had serial numbers etched into the glass).
The people...
Good luck with that one, you're still well within the limits that ofcom prescribe for a broadband connection. Remember they market broadband as "Up to...".
What would be more interesting to know is your line stats, your router will be able to show them. Try http://192.168.0.1 (most likley...
Objective C is a superset of "C", it's unrelated (thankfully) to C++ and is properly object oriented. Don't waste your time learning C++ if you're targetting iOS because nothing in iOS is C++, it's either Objective C or C. If you really need/want to you can use Objective C++ (you just name the...
Yes, the early ones had hardware issues that caused failures.
All of them suffer from software problems which may or may not render your data useless. They actually mount a sparse image across the network which is always going to be more prone to corruption than using a network filing protocol.
Yeah, problem is that it'll be sods law that it will b0rk when you need to rely on it.
The fact that I've seen it spew is enough to make me nervous about it. I also know somebody else who had one which decided to lose its memory!
Time capsule is probably apples worst current product, early versions overheated and died....all versions suffer from possible integrity problems, I know people who've come to restore data from it, only to find it corrupted. I've seen time machine backups fail, the image could be mounted but...
Firefox is a s**t browser, it was ok when it was the alternative to Internet explorer, but webkit pisses all over them all.
Choose your poison, safari or chrome. I've used nothing but safari on the mac for years, since V1. I tried chrome on windows at work but don't really like its UI, so I...
I've been playing with ours more, it's a pretty nice piece of kit.
The restrictions on viewing content however suck, only being able to view what's available through iTunes home sharing is crap because iTunes home sharing is crap (iTunes has to be running on the user account that you want to...
Time Capsule is quite possibly Apples weakest product at the moment, not something I'd willingly buy or want to take as compensation!

It's in the firmware, but unless you have tethering on your account you can't use it. I don't know about the other UK carriers, but it won't work on O2 as they charge an extra fee to enable it.
It takes as long as a normal OS X install, doesn't take too long.
Once it's reinstalled, you still have access to the old system folder incase there was anything in there you wanted/needed, if not you can just delete it. It leaves your user directories alone, so all your files will be there...
You don't need to.
Boot from DVD, select "Archive and Install". It will archive your old OS X system and install a new one. It will keep your home folder and other settings.
Btw, the three pay and go MiFi dongle is available from expansys for £59 which includes 3 montha/3gig (whichever comes first) pre loaded onto it, it's usually £71 direct from three.
They're also a doddle to unlock, so you can use other network sims in them.
Apple didn't actually write the original iTunes, they purchased another company and rebranded Soundjam MP.....
I've never had a problem with iTunes although for whatever reason it seems to lead even the most logical thinking people to confusion.
My iPhone 4 was bought sim free from the apple store our other iPhone 4 was bought in tesco. The bundled minutes/text/data is fantastic considering it's only a 12 month contract.
I have no idea why anybody of sound mind would enter into an 18 or 24 month contract.
I know it's a difficult thing to comprehend when the end result leads to making piracy easier, but honestly the people who cracked this were definitely not motivated by piracy. The group that did the initial work opted not to release the keys and only gave information on how they did it. Fwiw...
Sony (and all the other players) have created this whole mess themselves though. If they provided a legitimate way of running your own software on the console, it's unlikely that the people who have broken stuff like this would be interested in doing it, their motivations are not piracy but...
Yeah, the click mechansism is definately wrong, the surface should click not the "feet".
Tap to click works if you've turned it on (which if you're using it in bed you have to use it) but it a per-user preference, so doesn't work at the login screen where you have to click a foot.
Useful in...
You can turn on hex input codes by selecting "Unicode Hex Input" as the input language in International in system preferences.
And is there any reason you're using entourage?! It's cack!
I'd buy direct from apple, the price difference between the eBay machine and the education is 17 quid...plus you can get applecare for £47. No brainer really.
