any more than a 40mm drop and your cat will be in range when going over speed humps! could be very costly if you mangle the underside. i'd go for a 30mm drop myself

when i said i'm thinking of getting Cup dampers i did mean 182 Cup dampers. i dont know if they're the same but i'll be doing my homework on the subject before i go and buy anything. i was just enquring about the price as then i'll have a ball park figure to go on

i'm thinking of doing the same to my 182. it passed it's first MOT yesterday but the bloke said that there was a tiny leak in one of teh rear shockers so after a few months of saving i may get cup dapmers all round and some eibach springs (bank balance permitting of course)

I've done just under 29k in mine and my rears are still the originals but they're gonna need changing in a couple of months (when i get some wedge together) i'm on my second lot of fronts and they too are gonna need changing around about the same time which i'm not looking forward to!!! kiss...

05 Plate LY 182 (no Cup packs) spotted tonight in the car park for the JJB Gym in Merthyr Tydfil at 7:30. not sure if you were in the gym or in the shop but it was gone when i came from the gym at 9:15. Parked in a handicap bay too! tut tut!!!

Morning all Had my delivery from Yozza yesterday and my car is in tomorrow to have new discs, pads & braided lines fitted (plus it's first MOT so fingers crossed) Just one question - how much brake fluid do i need as there was about 8 bottles of it in the package which seems a lot to me...

how bad are your rear discs then? the rears dont actually do much braking so you could probably get away with just changing the pads. standard Reanault pads will be fine for the rears. as for the fronts - i've just ordered Brembo HC discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads, braided lines and replacement...

so do i - i almost bought one in that colour 18 months ago but i held out for 6 months, saved up a bit more and got my Silver 182 instead - love it to bits!

no mate - 182's dont come with spares because the twin silencers go right through where the spare is normally kept on other cars. renault decided to sacrifice practicality in favour of looks and slighly more performance:D

touch wood i've had my 182 for 10 months now and single problem to date. the only money i've spent on it was for tyres (which has to be expected) and fuel (and there's been a lot of this i can tell you!!) other then that she's been a joy. it's french so the odd little cabin rattle is there...
