spotted this morning at 8am getting on the A470 from Radyr area prob heading towards M4. Smart Blonde bird driving - wa wa wee wa (*Borat*)
I passed you on the outside heading down to Manor Way
Looked sweet..........as did the car!
maybe a dull question but have you tried looking in the manual - should tell you how to change it.
its dark now so i'd leave it till morning as it's much easier when you can actually 'see' what you're doing!!
looks good mate! glad you've decided to keep it looking stock.
just one question - how is there a look on your drivers door? i thought the RS Clios didn't have looks on the driver side but did on the passenger side?? At least that's the case with my 182. maybe the 172's are different in that...
you aint alone fella - that looks like the biggest load of sh!te i've seen for a long time! There's no way they're going to make that and it's not because concepts never make it into production....it's because it looks tripe!
Renault have stated numerous times that they are NOT going to make...
i had that trouble in the past when looking for quotes. i was arguing with one company for ages.
"It's not a cup" i said
"well it's showing on our system as Cup Mr. Ford"
"well your system is useless then isn't it - i don't even have the 'cup pack'" i said
"what's a cup pack" she asks
in the...
someone please tell me if i'm talking complete horse sh!te but i'm sure i read somewhere that the Airbags are triggered by sensors. if the sensors dont detect a big enough impact then the airbag wont deploy.
judging by that Trophy (which isn't that bad really) i can see this theory justified...
you didn't mention whether it was a 182 Cup or a 182 "with Cup packs"
a proper 182 cup will have the cup suspension (inc anthracite wheels) and cup rear spoiler as standard. it also has cloth seats, no rear head rests, no xenons and no headlamp washers.
a full fat 182 with cup packs will...
i've never had a problem with elephant and i've been with them for 4 years now. depends on who you speak to i guess.
Elephant, Admiral & Bell are all part of the same company which is handy come renewal time as one of these 3 usually has the cheapest deal. i've phoned elephant at every renewal...
i just noticed - in your opening post you said you had £400 EACH month to spend on your car? forget modding your 1.2, sell it and put that money towards a 172. get a loan for a couple of grand to finance it and your 400 sheets will easily cover the cost of the loan repayment and the insurance.
that's exactly my point - it's a 1.2 which has a stock 75bhp engine! why would you want to lower that power by fitting an induction kit?? what's the point. the standard airbox & filter will be better than this and an ITG Panel filter is only about £40-£45 so it's cheap as chips really and every...
don't bother fitting disc brakes on the back - it's not worth the time / money / hassle! even on the RS models about 80% of the braking is done by the front ones so you're not going to notice a difference.
i'd lose the induction kit for a start and get an ITG Panel filter instead as it will be better for performance. You could also upgrade the brakes to some Brembo High Carbon or Max Groove discs with some decent pads - i doubt you'll be doing trackdays in it so EBC Greenstuff or Redstuff pads...
