Well I cannot be trusted when I drink so really don't want to be waking up in someones bed in the middle of Germany from an epic night out!
We shall see;)
We are staying at a very local campsite that is huge (1000 pitches) and a stones throw away from the track. That's all I know.
We have no plans that I know of for the evenings apart from working on broken and bent cars and burning food on the bbq. You?
The thread has changed alot from the initial starting post.
On Friday 25th morning around 3am myself, Lewis Taylor and dmallett will be driving down to Dover to catch the 6am ferry to Dunkirk. We will then head straight over to the Nurburgring to then set up camp and drive Saturday and Sundat...
I was up at Nuneaton today and saw an Arctic 182 going past on the other side of the dual carriage way, we both looked at each other at the same time! lol
Wasn't you?
I was in an Arctic 182 too
Car looks really good, not usually a fan of those wheels but the suit it so well for some reason:) I like it.
Are they Pro 2000 seats you have in there?
I now own this car:)
Despite the fact the chap never acknowledged you, he and his wife were very friendly.

I won't need resistors to short everything out.........I can do all that on my own;)
The cage has the gusset plates at the front pillars that has to be welded to the shell so the windscreen has to go.
I shall have to look for the guide then, and it's not my fault that progress has been...
Ha it meant I didn't have anyone to talk to atleast!
I think the dashboard and windscreen is going to be a pain to remove. Want the windscreen to go back in aswell so got to be very careful
I have removed everything really carefully so nothing is broken. Looking back at the car does make it seem a shame but its worth nothing, its what I bought it for and exactly what I wanted being completely standard.
Got a lot of electrics to sort out yet, and have no idea what I am doing! lol
Update time:)
Finally pulled my finger out/got time to get abit more done to the interior. For a 12 year old car, I cannot believe that every bolt (so far) has come undone with ease:approve:
Couple of typical iphone photos.........don't own a decent camera unfortunately, and even if I did I...
Bloody pheasants!
That will make the back end look good, I like them pins in the boot lid:D
You will be gutted when you have a quiet exhaust back on there next, don't get too used to it;)
That would be a hard one to explain if you had a decat in lol
For now then is it worth just getting a straight pipe welded on the end the get the gases out behind the bumper and replace it after the ring? It wasn't any louder than Lewis' car.
Sounded great too!
"Race" that's the bit of info I needed thank you
I can see from the photos that the tail pipe is riveted on so would assume that these are repackable surely?
Maybe I am an immature child but I thought it was hilarious at the time an reading/watching that video does make me chuckle.....quite alot;)
Sounded great when you went through the village though Dan! Not that loud either considering what's missing!
Great write up Scott!
Didn't realise that you still haven't got that brake fluid in yet! Bring it round tonight;)
Seats and harnesses look great, I'm sure Sophie will love them;)
