As said your rear brakes could be binding, Causes is usually a sticking piston in the caliper, May need to take your wheels off, Whip out the pads and clean the pistons
Yeah noticed that, Had a new engine at 25k too as cambelt slipped and bent the head / valves... Wierd they havent mentioned that really as i would have thought it would be a selling point tbh
As some know i traded my 182 in a month ago for a 57 plate 197, the 182 was a blast but i wanted something a bit newer so chose the 197..
Anyway i part ex'd the 182 and got £5,500 which i thought wasn't too bad considering its an 04 plate and in good nick

I know couldnt believe my luck tbh, Caliper is sorted now thank god after a new unit under warranty but my CAT makes a rattle noise under acceleration, Renault diagnosed it as a failing cat / down pipe so are changing both under warranty too, They say its a 7 hour job lol but wont know for 3...
I hate the scratch and want it done asap so will prob get it done on pay day at end of month.... Did you read on my other thread that my drivers side brembo fcuked up ? Also my CAT is mullared lol... Got a new down pipe and CAT on order by Renault under warranty... 3 week wait FTL

Standard in the 197 - As stated novelty wears off after a few uses, Now its just a pain as when i get it if the keycard is in the same pocket as my iphone it says "Key card not detected" - Bring back the old fashion way of keys ffs lol
Ok well got a quote today for the repair, £130 for a full bumper respray at a renault repair bodyshop... Dont know if thats good or not but i've had work done by them in the past and it was spot on
just gave back renault a courtesy car, a mk3 clio 1.5 dci... trip stated 62mpg.. Was good on fuel had it for 5 days and didnt stick a drop of diesel in, didnt use a quater of a tank where as in my 197 i'd have used well over a tank tbh
LOL has it split between the cat and center section ? my 182 did this so i got the center section replaced with a straight pipe, Sounded better and cost £60 for the pipe and labour at my local powerflow dealer... Miles cheaper than a center section

Some t**t has scuffed my rear bumper on my 197, Can only presume as they were reversing out of a space they scuffed my bumper, Damage is to the lower n/s part of the bumper but has a nice 3-4 inch scrape which is quite deep, I dont think these smart repair people will be able to...
mines in at the mo with a fu*ked CAT and no pressure to the o/s brake caliper ! dropped the car off yesterday and just spoke to them and they said there still waiting to brake test it... wtf..... 14hrs of being in the workshop and still no brake test.... thinking of giving renault uk a call...
