TYhey are more efficient at mooching about town, as they offer better cooling properties for short bursts with low air to surface movements. But once you get up into "BIG DAWG" power, and on long runs/high speed blasts, a decent FMIC is much more efficient.
Just a shame they look ugly as f**k...
PMSL.
I want the service book so I can get it stanped to date, then start adding my own services in and do as you say above, make an invoice for what I did and when, and put it in. Just want to be quite comprehensive with it.
Also noted that ebay is s**t for genuine service books for the Mk2...
My Phs 1 didnt come with a service book, but I do have all the receipts from the old ones
Is it possible to buy a service book from ebay and send it to the dealers/garages to be stamped up?
Do they charge for this?
Mine is back home now, all running perfectly, new clutch and things. Washed it lastnight ready for sale, and just stood back admiring it.

I sold the Titanium one I bought recently, I wrapped it in carpet, covered it in foam, then put in in a massive cardboard box.
Even after all that............ it ended up being hand delivered, lol
Its at my mates house having some TLC. All the shitty wiring has been sorted, freshly skimmed head, all newly tapped exhaust studs etc. Just generally being tarted up so I can sell it.
