Aircon sorted out - actually cheaper than I was quoted for the job too :) THANK YOU Renault at Shelbourne! :hail:
Fitted new rear pads yesterday and Goodridge braided hoses then flushed the system with Castrol super response dot 4 :)
Adjusted the handbrake and balanced the cables as n/s was...
It does with a small alteration to the back and a wiring adapter for the airbag or something like that - few people on here have had it done
Expensive wheel though and I'd probably need to make a trip to whoever perfected the fit to get my car booked in lol :)
I accidently pulled my left driveshaft out one night and dumped most of my gear oil
So onto the forum and wouldn't drive the car until I found out which was best to get and top it up as didn't want to throw any old stuff in :o
Trawled through loads of threads and made a few calls next day -...
They are Compbrake ones :o IGNORE the haters I had no problems with them;
cured the standard suspension knock, didn't knock or rattle themselves and steering felt better - as expected :)
Good condition and £90ish posted - I haven't even posted them in the F/S section yet
I'm getting this now too. Comes on mostly at random when sitting in traffic (not moving though)
Still get the occasional pedal "farting" but all abs rings are fine
Fitted rear pads, Goodridge hoses and bled the system an hour ago!
I think they are releasing them in September - 99% sure I read that on here last week.
VERY expensive though even for Streamline standards, which are awesome but I think it was about £90 for 2 thumbgrips - I think I'll keep dreaming of a 197 wheel or get mine retrimmed lol
If I'm wrong about...
Is your steering wheel straight? (and don't say it's a big circle!) lol ;)
Is your alignment ok?
The light came on in mine a while back at random when I needed a trackrod end and my alignment needed done
Mine came on on the way home from Belfast one night, halfway down the motorway.
Didn't come back on since the car cooled but stuck it on a fault reader and the only thing came up was a fault with the Air Conditioning lol
Then again that may have something to do with my AirCon gas being empty...
