I pulled the bumper forward just enough to get the socket in and undo the nut - what a MASSIVE nut for just a small plastic washer lol
Just be careful you don't squash/kink the pipes for the washers when you put the bumper back together - wee buns! :)
It could be something simple like a stone stuck in the tyre grooves "clicking" as it hits the tarmac.
I would get under the car and get a look around everything, make sure nothing's catching and spin the wheels (while they are in the air ;)) in both directions to source the noise
This happened me once on the n/s/f and had a mate rethreaded the hub for me for a few beer tokens - how he got the bolt out is beyond me though.
All because I go to the bother of "checking my bolts" after being at a tyre place or a garage.
Hate bolts being put on with air guns!
I have an RS Tuner and am reading up on all the info before I touch it.
How can I tell what interface mine is?...I have that long I can't mind :o was got on the GB in 2009 if that helps
Last summer I painted my bonnet catch with Hammerite smooth (Blue) - I know it doesn't get as much sh*t thrown at it as the underside or the car but it has kept well :)
Failing the pinting, you could always Waxoyl the fittings after they're on - underside protection!
Was one guy in a Citroen dealers service desk "argued" with me after a chat about parts etc that the RS steering wheels were genuine leather saying he could get me a replacement cheaper than local Renault dealer.
So I said if it's genuine leather, how many cows have you seen melting in the sun...
When I got my starter replaced last year, the heatshield broke when we went to clip it on! :S
I put some exhaust wrap around the cable to the starter and held in place with a steel cable tie - no problems with it :)
I was thinking of doing a course similar to the OP - wasn't a degree (HND) http://www.src.ac.uk/index.php/courses/part-time-courses/816
No idea what the costs are but I could find out through a our photography club as some of the folk there are doing it and think about it from there.
