When you loosen the pulleys off, which you need to do if your replacing a dephaser, they are only held on the camshafts with torque, no splines or teeth.
When you loosen them off, they will spin on the camshaft.

The cheap camshaft tools tend to bend and put the timing out.
As far as I remember, the autodata information is wrong on the timing of these.

are the top mounts sitting the same when you open the bonnet?
No reason the tank or engine would make 1 side of the car sit higher, unless you filled it with cement maybe.

Had to go alternative to OEM on mine as RAC guy bent my hook and ripped the internal threads out of the front of the car, fcuking animal.
Used an OMP one with a couple of locking nuts and heavy duty washers after punching a hole in the back of the standard screw in point.
I'm using an 800w Vibe Activ8 in my MG.
It's quite long and won't fit under the MG or the Clio seats, so I've bolted it to the back of the back seats.
It doesn't thump like a proper sub, but it does add a little extra to the music.

haven't got a sniff tester, but I'm sure most garages would be able to give it a quick...
easy to remove, make sure they are re-fitted flush to the head, push them in too far and they weep.
I used the back of the crank pulley to knock them in evenly and stop them going in too far lol
