my mate just bought an S5R from halfords for £203. He had a 15% employee discount so without that its still only £230. Thing is he doesnt pay ne attention when it goes off because theres a lot of interference which sets it off (ie electric doors apparantly). dont see the point in him having it...

with toad alarms you can override the alarm/immobiliser with a sequence of turning the ignition on and off. you will have been told the sequence when u got the alarm fitted. is it a factory fitted alarm?

can you not drive a written off car? I thought it meant they would just give u the market value of the car and that would be it?

will the engine become damaged if i remove the superchip and put the old ECU back on? the superchip was mapped with the turbo running at 18psi. Would the original ecu realise there was a turbo on there and adjust the air/fuel ratio accordingly? Im worried that if i put the original ecu back on...

I had a toad alarm fitted on mine and i must say its bloody good. Cost me £350 with fitting for the TOAD AI606. They should be able to link the remotes to your old alarm and immobiliser but if ur getting a toad alarm neway u may aswell rip the old one out and just have the toad alarm running. Si
