Possibly a dirty crank sensor, could be loosing signal higher up the rev range. Is the engnie under full load when it happens?

Sounds like an odd one, is there no exhaust gasses coming out? if you put your hands over dose the pressure build up and start leaking from somewere else? If not possibly a blocked cat but i cant see that happening.

Id say the Mini is a better product and will hold its value more than the clio. The mini has less rear leg room plus you will have to put up with low twentys when it comes to fuel consumption

My 182 has had a few niggles but nothing major and has just coverd 40k! My previous next door nabour bought a 197 F1 and blew the engine up within the first day of ownership!!! The guys a proper muppet!!!

The same thing happened to me the other week. It didnt work for a couple of days and then came back on!!! Possibly the resistor back but your looking at around £160.00+vat from a dealer. Id be looking for poor connections and give them a clean with some Prosolve!!!

make sure you put plenty of wd40 on that lambda, changed my system recently and boy was it tight

Take it stem seals where leaking? looks pretty clean to me, but you have gone to the effort of removing the valves, so just spend a few quid and buy some new ones...
