i would have thought 85A would be on the small side ? going off previous suggestions from people when relocating the battery
i was looking for advice about fuse sizes aswell for relocating mine
alien green ?
kawasaki type greens have been done but cant remember seeing anyone thats done AG, or how about some sort of blue if your trying to be different ?
ouch she's done a good job on them anyway mate !
the good thing is most of it looks like its more like kerb rash rather than chunks out of the edge of the rim
fairly easy to do yourself, you just need to take your time when filling/sanding, it's all in the prep
i'm going to be doing exactly the same thing over the next few days and not got a clue where half the bolts/clips are, will have a better look but it does look a bit of a pita
I used PB black hole and it gave a great finish, waxed on top of it with collonite aswell and it was fine, no issues with it coming off
I've used Clearkote glazes on past cars and been impressed with the results but I would definitely recommend the black hole for a black car
What a cowboy, so let me get his right, he expects you to (and your going to by the sounds of it) cut the decat pipe off, weld the cat back in, cut the cat back off and reweld the decat pipe on EVERY year lol !
All to save him making up a couple of flanges.....
if you need to stick to that sort of budget i would seriously consider a second hand Nikon/Canon
you might be able to get a decent Nikon D40 or Canon 450D (second hand) around your budget
yeh that would be one of the only reasons i would have thought someone would want to buy it (rebuild) and then it wouldn't be anywhere near the normal £400-500 for a lower mileage engine, would prob be about half that imo
would be a great base for a track car for someone
^^ thats more realistic tbh, you would be lucky to sell the engine for much if at all, interior won't get any more than £100 (seen some up for £50) and the wheels if in good condition with good tyres then around £400, if not then less
you would make a bit from the body panels and other bits...
could be tempted if i can get my cup on the road and running sweet (engine swap to do)
as said before though i won't put my name down till i know for definate either way, will need to pop up to knockhill or to a meet sometime aswell
ah i know what your talking about now
anyway looking forward to your next write up gents, pity it's not for a while but hopefully it will give you time to get everything sorted for the next race
forgot you beat one of them at the last race, bloody good going with the lap times they have been putting in, would have been interesting to see how you would have done on the same setup as Anglesey but i suppose the learing is just all part of the fun with racing, shows how much a small(ish)...
i didn't think it was possible for a clio to auto lock when sitting still either (apart from the unlocking and not opening the door bit)
bending the door out isn't actually as hard as you think, i just cut a wedge of wood and slowly tapped it in, no damage to the door at all, you need to be...
it's called an opinion and it's not naive at all, if i had said it will be a completely new phone then you would have probably said i was being unrealistic, of course nobody knows what the next iPhone is going to be like, it's just speculation
i agree with what your saying about them having a...
you know what i meant anyway, but yet they will more than definitley keep the same main body i would reckon and just add a few bits like the 3G/3GS versions
decided i'm just going to keep my 3GS now as i just phoned up O2 and moved onto the new £30 a month tariff (300min, unlimited texts, unlimited data) and next month i'll be able to move down to the £25 a month tariff so will be able to save myself more than £20 a month (i usually go over my...
most decent SS exhausts aren't heavier or even lighter than the OEM equialent so i would say thats bull personally, the hangers take most of the weight and not the joint aswell
it's a metal gasket so could be reused imo if in decent condition but for the cost wouldn't be a bad thing to replace...
there was a thread about this just yesterday aswell
bascially get underneath and have a look at your exhaust hangers, if they have sagged or cracked then yeh it would be worth replacing at the same time
why replace something when you don't know the condition of the one you've already got ?
