i bought a crumpler shoulder bag recently and i've been very impressed, looks great and it's not as obvious that it's a camera bag which is what i was looking for
in the end of the day it's a better manifold even if slightly, screw paying £200+ for fitting alone though on top of what the parts cost you ! just not worth it
good to hear as i've got a set on my cup so will hopefully fair well on track, might have a look at the RS2's when they wear down
will be interesting to see how long they'll last and what the wear will be like being pushed more to it's limits on track rather than just on road
if it is as genuine as you say then i don't see the problem tbh, as long as it's not that bad and just a small 'dent' then any genuine buyer that knows what their talking about won't be put off with it
if it's quite bad thats another story..
ok thought i'd resurrect this thread instead of starting a new one
finally got some time and the space to get cracking with this but just trying to compression test the old engine before it comes out and having a problem with it even turning over
how the car is sitting at present -...
I've just got a D5000 a few weeks ago but not got many decent pics yet, still been getting used to it but I'm very pleased with it so far, just need to get another lens for it
has the laquer gone a bit cloudy/white ?
either wet sand and machine polish back up or sand down and relaquer would prob be your best bets
i'm going to be attempting that on my carbon bonnet soon
nice one mate, i've been thinking about doing this with my carbon bonnet (bought it with laquer clouding) not sure on the stripe though, would have looked better at the edge
if you don't mind me asking how much was it to get it sprayed (any more work than normal)
haha its a pity like but i suppose the price you pay for that bit extra grip, might have to try one though as they look/feel great and it will match my flocked dash :)
yeh thinking about it i'm sure your right mate, i'm sure the actual dash itself was silly money new from the stealers, the prices are in a thread on here somewhere from a while back
seriously mate it's not worth the £300+ they usually go for second hand (only ever seen 2 for sale)
your better off just getting another sat nav, if you want it built in then get the surround and try and fabricate it into that
had it in my 182 and don't know why people were making it out to be crap, i though it was fairly good, used it plenty of times and as long as you had an updated map disc (i had 2008) the it does the job, saying that most of your tom toms and garmins etc.. are that bit better so i wouldn't go to...
Meant to write kill switch (battery) if you were meaning from my post mate lol
Edit: just realised you were referring to Adams post :)
Adam that one I linked to is a 300 amp
yeh all my battery relocation stuff (apart from cut off switch) is from Car Audio Direct
i've got the holder and fuse below
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/phonocar-4-323.html
they've not got the fuses i bought listed anymore but similar to these...
i've got a 300 amp waiting to go in (using a Odyssey lightweight battery and i think they have a higher cranking amp - 550 amp iirc) not 100% if that will be the most suitable fuse or not but fingers crossed
i've got a kill switch waiting aswell, better being safe than sorry with the fuse imo...
