At the very least you should get a courtesy car, full valet, free service and a lot of sucking up to (by them) :cry: and tell the manager that the staff have been rude to you, helps if youve got a really big mate to stand behind you!

erm no, not according to Ren uk and the handbook. Some of the Clios are 18000 thou but not the 172. My dealer got it wrong, then I showed em the e-mail and handbook. Doh!:p

Youd think that the mk1 and mk2 would be basicaly the same, afterall its just cosmetic changes to the front end and headlights that they did and nothing to the body. Or am I wrong???? :confused:

Just had mine serviced, cost £170 and has done just under 12000miles and is 14 months old. Service is 12000m or two years whatever comes first Renault put a sticker in saying next service due at 24000m or May 2005 Viv :)

A lot of time, money and effort has gone in to that....shame you cant say the same for thought/taste. If the owner is willing to be seen in it then good on em hope they enjoy! If they are looking for attention, then theyve got it!!!!

yeah, the car is just over one year old (march 02)..typical. And yes all new parts fitted there after have a 1 year warrenty as far as I understand. I think that Im gonna go for a magnex, do they sound good??:)..the alloys will have to wait ...again :(

mine started to rattle at 11000miles. :( just a few weeks ago

Having just been to Renault with the exhaust rattle in my 172 and been quoted £160 to have it replaced, (and thats just 30%! :o) I have decided Id rarther spend the cash on a performance jobby. If I changed just the back box would that cure the rattle???

It only cost me £75 for my front bumper respray 2 weeks ago!! It was badly scratched on the corner and bent back at the wheel arch. Now looks brand new :). Was done at a Mitsubishi dealership body shop aproved by Renault. They r taking the piss Daz..

Mines going in tomorrow for the 12000mile, I have been quoted £130
