will it ever end? idiots...I only sent in copies and they were ok with them...just got to get the dam service history book stamped and I will send them a copy of that too.....no way are they getting the real book.
At the moment it looks pretty much like any other 172 as Ive only changed the side repeaters and wipers, I was planning on keeping it standard but have been looking at wheels, exhausts and induction kits recently... watch this space!!! :cool:

It’s sssooo annoying when they do that, tell you they’ve made the perfect car/washing powder (whatever) then just a year or so later, say “well actually that wasn’t the best, but the new and improved is!”

I would love one myself and use it as a second sunday car as the running costs would be to expensive with the mileage that I do...aaahhh one day!
Still havent had my car serviced yet but intend to get it done in the next few weeks, then I will send it off to Ren and let you know, Im gonna get it serviced at a Ren dealership first time just for the stamp.
Even tho at the Ren place they are nice and friendly, I still get the impression...

GR its not so much the top speed that Im worried about, as I prefer to keep my licence, life, car etc :confused:.
I just dont want to loose any acceleration speed!! But I just love the look of 17s.....decisions, decisions!!!!!
I was thinking of getting some 17s for my 172 mk2, but read on here that they will make the car slower :confused: I didnt think it would make a difference...
Does anyone know about this???
MGZS 180 will leave a 172 standing only when you hit 100pmh+ they have more top end speed, whereas you have to drop down to 4th in the 172 to keep up. The ZS you dont need to drop down.
I know Im not tech minded and Ive probably not used the right words to explain, but I have raced against one...
Theres a silver 172 on the next street to me owned by a retired couple, a bloke with a cup who flashes me ;)! The local hair dresser has a Williams and one or two very nice 16v..then loads of 1.2s and Billabongs!!!!
And I saw a V6 at the weekend...sounded nice...:)
Theres been a bombardment of Billabong Clios where I live, coz the local dealer recently had a big radio promotion and a £1 deposit/ interest free etc deal on them..;)
Both fantastic cars..depends what you want... paddymph said it perfectly. The cup hasnt got the extras and is cheaper, the 172 has the lot.
Would have loved a cup, for the nice colour/wheels but, given the chioce, much pefer the extras on the 172 IMO ;)

I know what you mean...Ive never put a mark on any of the old run arounds that Ive had over the past 16 years.....but my shinny 172..kerbed it and scraped the bumper on a wall!! :( must be coz Im trying to be too careful..
sell it ? nnnnnnnnnooooooooooooo!!!! I want a V6 for Sundays as well !;) and another 172 to put in the garage and keep it mint, whilst using mine day to day.
