Well thats two of us, but I'll be there anyway. At least this way no one will be disappointed and its short notice so I bet no one comes anyway.
Started a proper thread about it...
As per the Yorkshire Clio sport meet thread, that wasn't a meet thread etc.
I'm going to get some pictures of the motor at the Mushroom farm in Gateforth.
I've never been before, but seen Jim's (Leeds_182's) many photos of his many clio spurts over the years.
Irrespective if anyone is going...
My wheels are back :)
Rather than a driving meet, wondered if anyone fancies a few photos at the farm on Sunday 10.00am? I haven't got any decent ones and feel a pleb getting the SLR out on the drive. Dont think there is a grand prix this weekend - albeit April fools.
Pity this was a fail. was looking forward to it, but was without my wheels in the end.
If it was planned again, who'd be keen? Sun is out muchly and some good pics can be had at that farm.
More pics of the Mrs, she looks nice. You, on the other hand, look like a young ruffian.
Just kidding boss, the pics looks great, car looks stunning (11 years old too - you wouldn't have guessed) and the day out looks nice - where was it? I wouldn't mind having a run out with the Mrs next...
You'll need to know what ECU software your car runs, chances are it will a 7804. You may need the updated rst file first, then the cal file (which offers the overrun feature).
I would warn you against the overrun without a decat. I would also warn that you will have NO money after running it...
I wouldn't bother modifying the uppper plenum IMO.
Judging by previous explorations, the RS2 design seems to be the ideal setup - apart from it costs a few quid. Essentially modifying the plenum to be front mounted like ITB's you benefit from not dragging the cold air over and around a hot...
Sounds electrical if intermittent.
I'd get it in at a specialist in the first instance - putting an engine in, would be the last resort!
Edit: probably not related and I don't know if the clio has one, but I had a similar issue on my old vectra - was a faulty crank sensor.
AFAIK there isn't any mounting points in the front ISO wise.
Our baby (not so much a baby anymore) was in something similar to this (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_K-DhkoUBwvI/S7Ni6jKg7XI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/qNmZg7IjzYM/s1600/maxi-cosi-cabriofix-car-seat-phantom-6547.jpg), until she outgrew it. Then she's...
The airbag module can be turned off using the renault clip system. I'd be suprised if a renault dealer would do this - but hey ho.
RS tuner module will also do it, I believe.
Any garage with a clip system can do it - I went to DDC (doncaster) and it was done for £25. Mick @ diamond motors on...
