Give it 15 minutes to warm up and then change gear when it bounces off the limiter. It's not going to self implode and transport you to a parallel universe of tanned body builders.

I guess if you close one eye and hold the manual upside down you could read it as "Optium gear shift light" ;)

Garmin XT ftw..
By my experience the maps are FAR more accurate and up to date. My place/development (3 years old) isn't even on the TT maps but roads a month old are on the Garmin maps.
IP's (Unless static) can change all the time.
For example you've had over 40 different IP addresses in the last 60 days and anyone who uses the same ISP as you can, at some point in time, be issued with the same IP address.
Garmin XT wasn't too bad out in Spain.
I was amazed it showed roads that had only been under construction for a month but it did throw a wobbly a few times in built up area's where it kept having to recalculate the route.
I might try TT on the way to RWS.
