It doesn't look like that laptop was around in June 2005 so I'd guess that the laptop was "brand new" when you purchased it in August 2007 but the HD inside has been exchanged for whatever reason. I'd go to the shop but DON'T mention the pictures or movies initially. I'd ask them to check...

Are you sure it has two HD's and it's not a single HD partitioned in two? Seems odd for a laptop to have more than one HD. Either way sounds a bit odd.
