I've just taken delivery of a PDP-507XD and freeview works perfectly on it, not that I' use it as got Sky HD.
There are two aerial in sockets on the back, one for freeview the other for standard TV (normal 5 channels). Have you checked that you have plugged into the right one?
At under 40" you are probably better off with a decent LCD.
Check out www.avforums.com before you buy.
And when you do buy I can recommend John Lewis as they offer a FREE 5 year guarantee and will price match!
I woundn't buy from Curry's if you paid me.
Yes I seen both, at the IBC show this year. I can tell you that a decent plasma with 768 lines beats the latest and greatest 1080 native LCDs with both SD and HD sources. LCD is getting better and better but its not there yet.
Nothing wrong with Superchips, had a custom Superchips re-map done on my car by Sanspeed. Highly recommended!
Best - De-cat
Worse - Over rated air intake system eg Viper or any open cone
Hillpower no longer do them due to a lack of interest.
Fred, how much for just the plastic scoops?
I think the part numbers are 7711155483 (left) and 7711155482 (right). Renault sell them for 55.83 Euros each.
Hi, your 182 looked very nice this morning - nice and clean unlike mine which hasn't been washed in three months.
Came out of work today and found bird cr_p all over the car so took it over the road to the hand wash. Made a nice job - I had forgotten how nice capsicum red is.
Next time I...
There's a set of Trophy Sachs front dampers on ebay now;

You are all missing the point.
It is not a question of why, but why not!
If I could afford it and had the house / room to go with it then why not indeed.
We do have a wierd culture in this country about wealth.
Trouble is we are talking about two extremes here. A professionally modified suspension which reduces body roll while still being perfectly drivable on the road to a 'boy racer slammed wagan' which I agree is looks over function and totally ridiculous.
Throw away comments like 'lowered cars...
Even with just my 10mm drop I found on track that I needed to cut away some of the inner arch liner to prevent rubbing.
40mm drop on a trophy would be too much IMHO.
I fitted one of these at the beginning of this year. Cost then was £250 inc the ipod adaptor. Great little system for the price! ;)
Got mine working with the steering wheel controls even though it did cost me another £99 from Incartec. :(
You can buy off the shelf spax springs especially made for the Trophy which drops 20mm.
It all started with me going to Mark Fish Motorsport to have my brakes upgraded and my camber adjusted. Mark was very impressed with the Trophy when he test drove it, but thought it could benefit with a...
I had Mark Fish knock up some competition springs for me, dropped the Trophy 10mm front and back.
The pics are the original springs taken from my car.
Here's a pic my lowered Trophy. Made a nice improvement and got rid of the 4x4 look.
It is a very nice system, a well thought out design.
And will only produce any real gains IMHO with a custom re-map.
But is it worth close to £400 notes I don't think so, but thats not to say I wouldn't buy one if I could get it cheaper.
