    lol.no mate it doesnt convert it to RWD. but it also doesnt mean extra wheelspin. i take it you dont like FWD then?? predictable...not really, understeer....takes a deft right foot to steer it on the throttle as much as it does with RWD

    lol no mate he was toying with me........i was pretty much flat out, hence passing pretty much evrything else, 225 megs, 197s, 182s, 172s, and other williams es. altho mine was running std williams cams and a std 1.8 valver head at the time due to the kent cams exploding and destroying...

    my mate had a tweeked ra spec scoob years ago, was supposedly running 300+ bhp. the track car had the bodies on then , not overly impressive imho, and it used to rip him a new arsehole. the boosted clio would have done the same to the bodied track car. no question.

    i thought it was because you couldnt afford one..or so you said. btw...my williams 0159 STILL doesnt rattle or squeek etc. 0051 however is a diff story. like evrything, theres good ones and bad ones....altho havin no trim etc in 0051 doesnt help much tbh

    obviously you havent spent any decent time behind the wheel of a s/c 172 then....traction is NOT an issue, any more so than a std one.

    after having spent a bit of time behind the wheel of both. get the meg. ;) soooooo much easier to drive quickly, and lots better as an everyday car. vx is good, dont get me wrong, but a bit gutless imho if it isnt the tub version

    plenty about mate if you look hard enough. granted not williams, but as u rightly say, meg 710/714s. yes they need the dizzy machining out if you want to run the meg head. which is where the valver head comes in. few quid for headset but then its done n forgotten about. slightly smaller...

    lol..no mate ur right. i dont have the experience of making a mk1/f4 loom. as for being qualified......wtf?? is there a qualification for it?? lol judging by r/r days etc the f7s always produce the goods, the f4s are very hit and miss. some produce only a little less than std reno figures...

    iirc i think the f4s are around the 265 mark not 100% sure on that one tho. but they are a lot more duration/lift than a std williams. and hes gunna be pulling an engine out either way, a straight swap of evrything from f7p/f7r, loom ecu etc, get the ecu chipped, like i say a gunner chip...

    see what your saying mate, but tbh if the lads gunna be taking on the conversion himself, then throwing a set of cams in an f7 is gunna be childs play. f7 vs f4. only way to compare would be to get them to same spec, which would mean camming the f7 for a start to bring it in line with the f4s...

    in that case....adis cliorossa had £000s spent on it, kill power modded/chipped, was only slightly quicker than my standard williams. couple of hundred quidsworth of cams n his ass was mine. mapped on top of that i handed him his ass evry time, til he got the giggle gas....5 mins and 1 empty...
