All this am, blue cup sitting in traffic coming into hertford near mercedes garage roundabout, a silver phase 1 Vee lady driver ( blonde ) in hertford town, and also meggy 225 black coming from darlingtons harlow...
Well i've owned one, it got me from A to B and they actually look pretty nice if looked after, no there not earth shatteringly quick but what do expect from that engine, it serves its purpose and its cheap to run, coming onto a forum and putting down the car is obviously going to ruffle some...
I love the way some ppl drop such words as destroy and anhilate in sentences, there not worlds apart in terms of performance, and as for handling video speaks a thousand words....
Ozzie that civic sounds similar to yours......sweet, the only way that evo would have got beat is if darren ( badboy ) was behind the wheel...... ( personal joke )
Exactly my point, 5 doors ideal for family safe and reliable, and not far off Vee in terms of performance...is it really that hard to choose between the 2, the R32 is also a head turner believe me!
R32 everyday of the week, its build quality alone sets it above, its nice to have a car thats ultimatley not going to be in dealers more than its on your drive, taking nothing away from the Vee to look at its superb!
In reply to b3nje, golfs are common as muck, but not the r32's dont see that...
If my past time consisted of sitting down Mcdonalds with a girl with chandeliers for earings wearing kangol tracksuits and i wore a baseball cap halfway up my head and gelled my fringe....id purchase that!!
If you follow the seat belt clip down there is a gold clip male and female unclip under carpet i believe and hey presto........by the way if you have a donor card can i have your eyes, as your brain is obviously not in use!!
Of course i listen to jeremy clarkson...he's my father afterall, and yes forgive me its not the worst car ever produced, its the fiat multipla but crossfires up there.......:dead:
Mine and my friend's golf R32 went to marshall panelcraft hertford, they done a top notch job, and are pretty reasonable when it comes to price ( family run buisness )
Deffo more head turning than a clio.....but by know means in a good way, just get used to comments such as " what on gods green earth is that" its possibly the worst car ever been produced, hand me a 350z any day of the week, but again its just my opinion, which im told by the missus means next...
Towards Ware, underestimated cars, sounded mustard, on the straights no contest but throw a bend in, and it was all over my arse like george micheal in a public toilet...said a quick hello.
-Sorry could this be moved to spotted section-
Cheers big ears.
near harlow train station on the roundabout, i was the one in the cup with the CTR up my rear, had personalised plate 2 lads in front 2 girls in back i believe.
Theres talk of a guy near me who taken a valver shell, and said to have a bishi evo 6 engine and running gear, will this work/fit for the more technical minded ppl out there.??
If thats the case that must be rapid hes said to have spent the best part of 10k on it, i have seen stationary but yet...
Hey new guy, im also from the harlow area, if you happen to see a very good looking chap in your rear view in a little smurf on steriods, would you kindly move aside your mildly warm hatch you sunday driver you!!
The Glanza V has under its hood a 1331cc DOHC, 4cyl, 4E-FTE engine with a kerb weight of about 940kgs i believe, and has a 0-60 of around 6.8ish so there not slow by any means, quite the sleeper could easily get caught out if you not on guard.
