Andy, as per Chip above this needs to be a custom map for your actual car in a dyno cell.
I got mine off a CSer which came with a mapped ECU/UCH/Key set so I thought I'd save some money... wrong, it drove like a bag of s**t at low rpm. Took it to Paul RSTuning for a minor modification and all great
Yes, installment plan okay? The wife may just s**t it otherwise when I tell her the Vegas fund is no longer there. Either that or your bill next week may be a bit silly hehehe
There are some places that can replace this for you but if it were me, I'd just replace it with a genuine Renault refurbished item for around £150 (don't forget to replace the aux belt kit also).
Absolutely anything... coolant temp sensor, H02 Sensors, MAP sensor, or even something like badly blowing exhaust, incorrect timing or general poor engine condition.
Needs properly looking at to say for sure but that is wrong.
You can't ever fully remove the SRS as the cars network knows it should be there by design.
You can however have it reconfigured to tell it that there are no SRS components in specific areas which makes the system behave as it should.
Try diagnostics first rather then wasting money guessing. A decent tech will be able to take one look at the live data outputs and tell you what's not looking right... forget code reading.
Yeah we get a few from Leicester chap and I'm normally seen around Beaumont Leys as the in laws live there.
The offer is still there though with this or any issues you may have so just drop me a line if you have any questions
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Mark if you want a had with this let me know as I'm looking at making a few wiring loom options for people at the minute and I'm just about to get teeth in to the schematic stages.
Correct you will need a length of 8mm speedfit pipe (1m max should be more than adequate) and a single coupler. Then put your existing brake servo line in to one end of the coupler (no need to cut the original) then add one end of your new length to the other. Finally route the line to the...
As above, check the gearbox and rear engine mounts followed by the gear selector first. They are very easy checks to do yourself and best of all they are free.
Re: ClioSport 172, Misfire, intermittent 3 cylinders. Coil pack connection? HELP PLEA
If the coil isn't receiving instruction to fire then you won't get a spark, simple - so yes, a poor connection could cause this issue.
Pull the plug and inspect it closely for signs of obvious...
Needs looking at really to say for sure. It could be a stretched cable but (more likely, if it's just suddenly happened) it could also be a snapped cable (there's two).
Mick
Do you mean they unlock rather than physically self open? If so then this is normal on the Clio III - It's known as "Selective opening of doors" and it annoys the hell out of me on the Wife's '11 Clio.
Mick
Sounds like a worn clutch Kingy720 but if you fancy bringing it in i'll gladly confirm/deny this for you by checking the rachet and cable for you. We're based in Long Eaton which is just off J25 of the M1
