You don't need CLIP to enable cruise features on an X65. If the wiring is in place, the switches are all correct and the UCH is of an N3 specification it will work.

No.4 for me also. Have you considered maybe turning the circle into a lense shutter/apperture graphic as it's a bit more photography specific than just a circle.
Brake shoes sticking. Try putting less effort on to park the vehicle up over night but I'd advise a rear brake service as these are common for seeing the friction material fall from the back plate which jams the rear wheels solid (and isn't fun to fix).
