Re: Throttle Potentiometer - What to do?
I'm still not coming mate. Lol.
Just mentioned to Steve that me and dan should come up another weekend though. Maybe evo triangle trip?
Re: Throttle Potentiometer - What to do?
aaaa so it's a case of replacing the pedal unit?
I read when i first started getting these problems that it often involves a replacement of either the throttle body or the pedal unit.
cheers.
Hi,
Recently My car has been idling strangly, dying and going in and out of limp mode. I took it to Renault and found it was being caused by the Throttle Potentiometer.
They've quoted me £400 to change it, which I'm not paying. lol.
Can I solve the problem by picking up a new/used throttle...
some great shots. My parents were there. Heard the Eurofighter was as impressive as ever!
The Vulcan flew VERY low over the island on the saturday afternoon, guessing it was on its way there! such an impressive aircraft.
from what i've gathered, yes.
for ref... this is how the front and rear genuine towing eyes differ (top one being a rear towing eye)...
don't think you can get hold of them anymore. I've had a prototype rear towing eye made which i need to trial. just need to get off my ass n do it!
ph2...
front and rear are not the same. rear is quite a lot longer. not a lot of point in having a cup racer sytle towing eye unless you have a ph1 as there's nowhere secure to screw it into, unless you want to do some strengthening work.
cheers guys.
boosh - good shout. will whip it off at the weekend.
Stoddie - saw when searching people mentioning the heat being a factor. It was hot today and i did get stuck in traffic coming back from work. hopefully that's it!
This has literally just started happening and I'm fed up of trawling through threads about lumpy idles and ICV issues on ph1's when i search so thought i'd just start a new thread.
Any ideas as to the cause? Like to have an idea before i head to the diagnostic.
Car's been running fine...
