i see your an electrician aswell lol, i have checked the feed terminal and it is reading 12.5 volts

HELP!!!

i just checked the voltage across the b+ on the alternator and the negative of the battery and got 12.5v again, also there is no cable connected to b- terminal on the alternator??? oh and i found where that yellow plug goes and i put it back but it didnt seem 2 do much?

i just found this plug type thing hanging around next to the alternator? should it be plugged in somewhere?

this started last night after i went around a corner quite sharp (not sure if this has anything to do with it?) anyway now when im driving it is constantly flashing untill i let the car sit at idle then it seems to go away but not always??? i checked the voltage on the battery and its at 12.4v...

why were they s**t? did it feel spongy/unresponsive like im saying? should i go and get some halfords forodos to go with my brembo discs then?

it had some gay sticky things on the pad??? apparently they are meant to do the job of copper grease???

so u think it is the pads? lol i mean even when im parking and im doing about 5mph and i hit the brakes its like as if they are covered in wd40! the car will travel 1 or 2 metres b4 stopping!:eek: lol should i pop over 2 halfords and buy some standard forodos?

i fitted brembo max discs and mintex extreme pads to my car a few months ago and they felt spongy last week so i bled them (well 1 of the bleed nipples sheared so 1 calliper wasnt bled) it didnt get much better and they still seem crap! also they queel like a b**ch which only started last week...

Re: URGENT HELP!!! Clutch is f**ked! well the clutch is apparently only a year or so old mate and is an "organic" clutch so no point replacing it if its ok, i suppose the clutch centre will be able to tell if the pivot bush is fucked???

Re: URGENT HELP!!! Clutch is f**ked! yeh i read about u mate, i have checked and my clutch fork is actually moving fine (the distance) but my clutch just wont disengage. i think my release bearing has popped through maybe which would explain the heavy vibration aswell

my clutch fork is moving twice as far as it should according to haynes manual, can any1 think of what would cause this

are you trying to make your car look like a fiat coupe? lol

i just remembered just b4 i pulled off the motorway i floored it in 5th gear a few times to do a bit of overtaking and there was a really heavy vibration for about 1000 revs then it went/got weaker, is it possible that something is actually loose in the clutch and is blocking something???

Re: URGENT HELP!!! Clutch is f**ked! i checked it mate and my clutch fork travels 1 and 1/4 inches when the clutch is pressed, any possibility of u checking yours in the morning?

car will be worth £2500, tpft will be £450 extra on the £1200 im paying now, and fully comp will be £1200 extra onotp of my £1200
