i just checked the voltage across the b+ on the alternator and the negative of the battery and got 12.5v again, also there is no cable connected to b- terminal on the alternator???
oh and i found where that yellow plug goes and i put it back but it didnt seem 2 do much?
this started last night after i went around a corner quite sharp (not sure if this has anything to do with it?) anyway now when im driving it is constantly flashing untill i let the car sit at idle then it seems to go away but not always??? i checked the voltage on the battery and its at 12.4v...
so u think it is the pads? lol i mean even when im parking and im doing about 5mph and i hit the brakes its like as if they are covered in wd40! the car will travel 1 or 2 metres b4 stopping!:eek: lol should i pop over 2 halfords and buy some standard forodos?
i fitted brembo max discs and mintex extreme pads to my car a few months ago and they felt spongy last week so i bled them (well 1 of the bleed nipples sheared so 1 calliper wasnt bled) it didnt get much better and they still seem crap! also they queel like a b**ch which only started last week...

well the clutch is apparently only a year or so old mate and is an "organic" clutch so no point replacing it if its ok, i suppose the clutch centre will be able to tell if the pivot bush is fucked???

yeh i read about u mate, i have checked and my clutch fork is actually moving fine (the distance) but my clutch just wont disengage. i think my release bearing has popped through maybe which would explain the heavy vibration aswell
i just remembered just b4 i pulled off the motorway i floored it in 5th gear a few times to do a bit of overtaking and there was a really heavy vibration for about 1000 revs then it went/got weaker, is it possible that something is actually loose in the clutch and is blocking something???

i checked it mate and my clutch fork travels 1 and 1/4 inches when the clutch is pressed, any possibility of u checking yours in the morning?
