Every wheel in those pics above were painted with rattle cans bought from Halfrauds, none of them were lacquered. As they were track wheels they were just rubbed down and sprayed either in the store room or the back garden.
Re: Petrol Blue 182 Photo Shoot (Mega Pixel Heavy?) Added Pics
Really appreciate ALL the comments in the thread, thank you. I've been out again this evening, i thought i'd head out a lot earlier as it's really sunny with little or no clouds. Anyway, i won't bore you again with too many photos...
I've owned this Petrol Blue 182 since April this year and this is the first time i've taken some ok photos of it as i've just bought myself a new Canon bridge camera. So i gave it a wash after work and headed out to 3 locations not far from me, i'm sure some will recognise the location in some...
They never do when the sun isn't about, i have one (for sale too) and the last 5-6 weeks it's looked brilliant in full sunshine. Typical british weather means you hardly see it at it's best which is a shame
Painted a few sets of wheels over the years with rattle cans

Top work Austin, i was about to purchase a new pair of seatbelts (£150) but after reading your thread and seeing the after pics i'll be giving mine a damn good scrub!
My daughter has an I Phone 4 (bought 2nd hand in decent condition) it's on a 12 month O2 contract which i pay the monthly bill as the contract is registered with me. The 4 works for her for internet, texting, music.
£11 a month: 300 mins, unlimited texts, IIRC 500MB data
The trend nowadays is...
I'm actually using the PB as a workhorse at the moment, as much as it's enjoyable to drive everyday, returns nothing less than 36MPG tank to tank, i'd rather be using a $hitbox derv to run that into the ground and have the PB as a weekend toy. On some jobs i have the boot literally full of...
I see people have painted the front upper grills in Satin Black to great effect, so i was wondering has anyone painted the other black plastics like the foglight surrounds, rear bumper inserts in satin black too? Opinions, yes or no or just use a decent back to black product? If anyone has done...
I'll be dissapointed when i take my rear discs off to not find the deflector washers behind them, they were missing on my last Clio as well.
G 172, out of interest how much for OE rear discs delivered? PM if you prefer
My rear bearings are going already too, new discs with bearings fitted back in March. Non OE fitted, so I rang the parts guy at Renault I know and he can do a set of discs with bearings pressed in for £98.50. For a laugh I asked him how much for just the bearings, it worked out only £4 cheaper...
I'm going to order a couple for my 182 exhaust, but find an alternative fixing to the good ol zip tie :D
Tap and die set, threaded countersunk screw that goes through the exhaust bracket, through the polybush mount then picks up a tapped hole other side of the exhaust mount. Worth a try, will...
Yep it's me! I live just off the seafront, parking is a nightmare most weekends when its sunny so i have to park it where it is in that pic.
Kayzee PM me for any details about it if you like
Mine looks OE on the exterior but full Spax coilovers and Scorpion stainless exhaust with K Tec goodies under the bonnet. Tried selling it private but no luck so part exing being my next option. I also don't have the OE bits to swap over either, i guess sourcing the parts over the next 2-3 weeks...
Only 9 miles from me, looks nice and £895... To be fair any phase 1 i'd own again would have a mk2 dash fitted straight away... Need to sell the PB first for my future plans to work
21" rings a bell, i'm using the Bosch aero wipers bought from E Bay for about £17 a pair (Aceparts) The second set for my second clio and they work really well and no noise. I'm sure someone's mentioned that OE wipers are one at 21" and one at 20" but a pair of 21" will be fine.
