Tis me Ron, i was 1-2 cars behind you at the lights. I often see you heading towards that roundabout about that time of the morning as you head out of Wickford and i'm heading towards it :D
It's a colour that truly comes into it's own when the sun is on it, gutted i missed the Hanningfield meet.
The Engine Dynamics kit at low boost equates to 230-240bhp, I'm at a loss even with supposed ambient temps of 30 degrees where 50bhp has gone. Granted some of the bhp were a bit low (by owners quotes) but they were consistent
Ok so today out the blue the Clio drops to 3 cylinders 2 miles from home. After checking the plugs (none black) swapping HT leads, checking the injectors it turns out the coilpack had failed. Luckily I had a spare genuine Renault 1 so I swapped it and all is fine, just to mention the faulty...
I can't believe my luck! 2 miles out and it's running on 3 with the EML light flashing so I'm back home. I have a spare set of leads but thinking its leading to an injector fault
Apologies if this has been aked before, if so feel free to delete or link to me to a relevant thread. I have loads of photos on my laptop that i'd like to put on my I Pad, am i right in saying i have to use I Cloud? (briefly browsed the net earlier)
If not how do i import photos from my laptop...
I used to have one fitted on 1 of my R5 GT Turbos, a chap in the RTOC made them and proved to be the quickest reaction to temp change of any gauge out there. When people fitted them to to their cars some were surprised at the poor efficieny of the intercooler setups they were using. I should...
I suppose that's the thing when we have awesome weather, the ambient temps yesterday were quite high so imagine the track temps were more so. Chip do you have anything to read the charge temps?
I've spent thousands over the last 5 years on the 5 clios that i've owned. I've enjoyed doing it as people have mentioned it's a hobby and to me it's money spent from my wages and not borrowed from the bank or on a piece of plastic. I'm really enjoying the Petrol Blue at the moment as for once...
I found it harder to get the old 1 out, I used a really thin screwdriver and a rag covering the end to gently prise it out from the spoiler
Yep about £23 from the dealers
Purchase a torque wrench for the next lot of wheel bolts :) No need to go VFT. I wouldn't be without one, especially on my last Clio swapping track wheels for road wheels on trackdays.
It was indeed, although going to RWS was a bonus. I went with a car club (RTOC) for a 4 day trip to Belgium to meet up with a few french and belgian renault turbo clubs for a big car show. We didnt book any tickets just walked in, its a free event
Taken on the HTC so not the greatest but took a few of the latest Clios in race trim at the RWS in Spa last weekend

I arrived back yesterday from a 4 day trip to Belgium and France which included going to the RWS at Spa Francorchamps, I was just wondering if anyone else from Cliosport went too? I've taken a few photos of the new Clio Cup race cars but can't download them to my laptop as the power lead is...
Had it plugged into CLIP today as I had 6 lights come up on the dash. ABS, ESP, SERV, STOP and brake fluid low level. EML also on but knew that was down to a slight blow on the join on the decat pipe. CLIP was showing a fault with 1 of the front ABS sensors but when tested on the multimeter they...
I bought it about 2 weeks ago from a chap in Wantage, can meet up 1 evening if you like. The colour looks its best when the sun is out (whenever that is!)
