I can vouch for Koni Adjustables, good piece of kit. Failing that the usual brands like SPAX will offer a similar thing albiet probably not as technically brilliant. New dampers will sort you out though, easy to change too.

You got an amp or any other ICE? You may wish to consult Clifford, but all goos alarms I've had in the past will remain fully active for XX hours, followed by a 'power saver' mode, was the same on my 172 and the same on my Bike - sigma/laser respectively.

Thick Blue = Power, goes to +12V on the amp. Thin Blue = Remote lead, goes to REM on your amp. Wire your 6x9 into correct polarity. (This is where I failed first time around) Makes sure you have a decent gauge ground lead connected to the car, It was recommended too me to use the middle rear...

They are indeed £17.95 from Renault, needed one last year.

Fit them yourself (guide on the forums), and then get them properly setup. I fitted my myself using a guide Fred wrote and got Northampton M'sport to set them up.

£15.5k for one? Given they were and are in some cases dishing them out for £14k that's still far too much. That same car will be worth 10/11K in a years time, I'll let someone else sort the warranty issues out on it and pick it up once it's run in.

And lose thousands on it in a matter of months, no thanks. Should be a great second hand purchase though in a year or two's time.

There's your problem, I'd not have bought a 182 Cup. Yeah including petrol costs. Only a Trophy/R26 will handle aswell as a 182 aswell :)
