Could well be condensation/dampness on the belt, mine was fine about 2weeks ago, now it just squeeeks like mad, Leave the car running to try and make the belt warm up so the dampness goes.

got my kit through now, and the first thing i checked was the bearing. Now it looks totally different to that one pictured above as you can see in the pic below: is that the correct one? im guessing iv got the wrong kit now tbh...

take the belt off and itl be that, coldness/damp = high squeel noise, .. mines currently doing it but wasnt 4 days ago. took belt off and it went.

^ ye, Iv started on mine today, everythings off just gearbox to get off now, but no point until the clutch kit had arrived, but it took a good 4hours to get everything off for me.

Im no mechanic, its the first time iv done something like this lol, But iv order a new Valeo Clutch kit from Eurocarparts £101 :dead:, but atleast thats done then. box is ready to be removed now took a staggerin 4+ hours to get the sub frame out lol. Does the clutch kit come with a bearing ye? :o

How did you manage to brake your manual locks? Just call any dealership tbh, they all do the same job and will only ask for the VIN number and reg, so they could order new locks and key for you, but you will be paying £££ tho.

have you got some long nose pliers you could use to get the rest of the ht lead out?

Holy s**t, now i see what the real issue it.. Theres no sodding bearing in there, i remember puttin the box on and dont remember seeing a black bearing like that on there.. Box out tommorow then :)

Have you checked that you have bolted the driveshaft gaitor on the passenger side properly ye? should be 3 13mm bolts holding it in place, also check the washer on the gearbox plug, give it a wipe and see if it comes out from there, change the washer if you have to. Just a note, did you spill...

Ye, you could use a belkin Fm transmitter, but what i found out with them was that the level ov bass from the song goes weaker, but the closer the transmitter is to the radio the better it is. Can you connect a ipod into the back of the standard headunit? i kno dan a friend of mine bought one...

^ same here, from the day iv had it its been running off the cd's.. so you must have changed the settings somewhere ..

no, there was a clutch on the engine allready which had about say 30+k left onit, so didnt bother, the noise gets louder when you touch the clutch fork aswell
