Im just guessing, could be some salt/ice etc which has nackerd the ring on the shaft, or the Abs sensor itself on the hub, try and get it on diagnostics machine that will say what it is
mines done. and i cant connect :S keeps coming up as Error each time when you connect, you choose either 1 man out of 3, then it takes you to this map then Error, happens all the time ffs.

Your oil is higher than usual, have you tried a oil change? so you get all the crap out and see if anthing changes with fresher oil in. Cold wether can cause condensation alot,
Thats condensation.
On my 1.2 i had it more thicker and that was condensation, it when it goes like mayo its the headgasket gone, also watch your water level too,
Still dont see how your catching the sump tbh, mines decked and i can go up ramps/speed bumps etc etc with only bumper scrapes.
You can do your own sump guard if you want. Some rally boys around here just get a sheet of metal measure it to size etc then drill the correct holes for it and hey...

I wouldnt jack a car on the subframe tbh, as like edde i do it the same as him basicly as its much stronger than the sills/subframe. so you wont have to worry about damaging it etc.
As Daniel mentioned it wont rust for a good few years, mine 7yrs old and no rust on subframe so ul be allright...
Ye i kno were it is that why i mentioned smacking it, theres a gap enough big between manifold tubes 2-3. i dont have a heatsheild on mine at the mo but when it got stuck i just smacked it and its been fine.
Just keep a eye on it, make sure the battery is chargin enough aswell or immob light...
