I'd leave any safety critial parts like suspension well alone, otherwise I'd snap up the seats and maybe the wheels but only if the tyres are like new.
Likewise, whos to say the car didn't aquaplane straight into the lorry? What matter is finding out if the occupant(s) are ok. But trival discussion on the rights and wrong of whether ABS could have prevented this accident is not going to help anyone!
To be honest I don't expect much from any upcoming 'Cup' version. Useless Reno sort the steering (which I doubt they will) there isn't going to be much improvement in handling. And as the 'basic' model weighs in at 1250kgs without toys how are they going to strip any weight off it?
