Me thick? If anything I find you come across as a bit of a plank
I'm not sure why you're comparing a MK2 RS with a normal MK3? If that is what you're on about? As thats got nothing to do with what I was saying...
Because it's blatently obvious as soon as you sit in a 197 that it's better built than a MK2! Are you telling me it isn't?
Exactly. People are kidding themselves thinking otherwise.
Then you get the folk who say "well now, the RS's are better built than the rest of the range" which is utter nonsense too.
Still, MK3 Clio build quality is much improved on the MK2. I was amazed at the bits I could just pull off in my interior.
Doesn't suprise me at all, it's worth changing the oil regularly on them though, I did mine in the freezing cold last month lol.
Would still be worth running the PC over it mate, I see what you're saying about the mileage issue but it'll come up a treat each time you wash it after. You might...
Lovely sir, just enjoying it for what it is. On 75k now and it still feels tight, remarkable really. Gonna try and give it a detail sometime soon too :)
What miles is yours on?
My thoughts exactly...I love the way you sit low down in them, I never feel fidgety on long journeys like I did in my Clio. So much car for the money.
We must think alike cos I half fancy an MX5 sometimes too
Lovely car. As you say, very civilised, I've had a few passenger rides in one upto 100mph and it was unbelivably refined
Looks like it could do with some decent rubber?
Springs - £120 ish (fitted with a mate)
Colour coding - £120
Dash strips - £20
Tyres - £160 fitted, £20 tracking
Carbon diamond - £25
Mats - £50
Those are the main ones, not a lot really. My main expense was maintenance and getting bits put right!
